Atlanta, Georgia, USA – June 8, 2023 – On March 17-19, 2023, the 3rd Annual I AM H.E.R. International Awards ceremony was held to recognize outstanding women who have shown resilience and strength during their journeys while continuing to elevate and teach others what it means to be a woman. This event marks the celebration of womanhood and the culmination of the fine achievements of the celebrated women. It also illuminated their influence and amplified their brand and voices.
After recognizing the tireless efforts of women who were breaking barriers, making history and unapologetically impacting their spheres of influence, Dr. Derashay, in 2021, launched the I AM H.E.R. International Awards. It is the only global initiative that recognizes, promotes, and celebrates women for their impact, significance, and achievements on the seven mountains of influence. As an extension of her I AM H.E.R. International movement, the awards ceremony provides a platform for exceptional women around the world to receive honor in over 70 different categories.
This years’ event was marked with much growth, a testament to the I AM H.E.R. International brand’s purpose. The event was expanded to a weekend experience where it included Queen: It’s Time to Build action-oriented conference and the Saved, Sanctified, and Sophisticated Fashion Show.
This year’s awards were hosted by International Bestseller Speaker, Author, Mentor and Media Personality, the Kingdom Strategist Dr. Derashay. Keynote Speaker and Femininity Coach Jacqueline Brown of Revolution Academy transformed lives as she inspired women by stating, “Women have powers and abilities that God didn’t give to anyone else. Those abilities are for us to go out and make an impact in the world.” gave words of inspiration. Evening entertainment was provided by Multi-Award-Winning National Recording Artist Daphney Hilton, D.W Bland & Impact Nation, and Prophetic Dancers Shunta Graham and Dorene Lewis.
When asked about the uniqueness of this year’s awards, Dr. Derashay revealed, “We are women who are dedicated to the advancement of women and the uplifting of their voices. This past year has impacted lives globally, and despite the world’s circumstances, these leaders continued to pave the way and set themselves apart. The contribution of women is vital within society, and the 2023 winners are a testament to this truth. They exemplified the very core of I AM H.E.R. Intl. They have shown the strength of a Healed, Empowered, and Resilient woman through their work, the lives they have touched, and the impact they are making within their sphere of influence.”
