About the Author
I had a simple life until 13, when I entered the convent High School in Mequon, WI. I spent 7 years at the Motherhouse there, studying and enjoying life overlooking Lake Michigan. I believe in Life Long Learning, so I studied Art in Chicago for three years of Saturdays in the 1970s. When I moved to California in 1977, I finished my AA degree in Graphic Communications, going to classes after work when I was 55 years young. I raised a daughter on my own, which made life hard for my daughter, Katrina. I am now retired and enjoying life in a different way. People over the years kept saying I should write my memoir. Three years ago, I made a New Year’s resolution to write my story. This is how my book came to be.
