Little Buddha’s Moral Arts Series and Virtual Paint and Grow Entertainment Encourages, Guides Moral Development of Youth While Stimulating Creativity, Two-Way Conversation Parents

West Haven, CT – November 20, 2020 – Troubled by what she feels is a focus on too much negativity and lack of moral fortitude in today’s society, a concerned mother of a toddler has designed a series of books, videos and guided painting projects, to help parents share positive values with their children, in a creative, entertaining and engaging manner.

Little Buddha’s Moral Arts is a series of conscious-themed original short stories partnered with fun painting projects that offer guidance to young creatives between the ages of  9 and 13.  The innovative book and painting series are designed to help guide challenging conversations dealing with moral integrity between parents and their children who are emerging thought leaders, says Neshamah Crosby-Jones, creator.

“Our children are bombarded with so much negativity today, as the mother and aunt of young children under 10 years-old, I found myself wondering how to address the challenge of sharing certain core values of how to live above it all in ways they could easily embrace and understand,” says Crosby-Jones, creator of Little Buddha’s Moral Arts.  “As a creative person myself, I came up with an idea to bring creativity into moral development, through the arts of painting and children’s literature,” she said.

Crosby-Jones, founder of Building N’IAM, a company that works to stimulate creativity, says that Little Buddha’s Moral Arts will focus on various themes that will help children with critical thinking, boost their confidence and communications skills.  The educational series is being created to appeal to children of all races, ethnicities and spiritual beliefs, and will be interactive virtual programs where children can participate by themselves or with their parents.

Among the first themed books and art projects are “Life’s A Breath and Then You Fly,” a book that addresses the importance of intentional breathing, while teaching children how to change negative emotions into positive energy by focusing on the breaths they’re taking. Another book is entitled, “Chunky Chip Ala Mood,” which shares a message about not letting temporary situations alter your mood and take away your joy, in a story about a small child losing a tooth and her desire to smile.

“The book series is formatted for children with break out themes of heavy topics, so children can digest them,” shares Crosby-Jones.  “Each book tackles a different theme and has a related art project that reinforces the moral lesson.  Depending on the age of the child, the book series is designed for children to work on independently or with a parent.  This also offers some great quality time between parents and children as they discuss the themes in the books,” she said.

The virtual series of the Little Buddha’s Moral Arts books, which can be done multiple times, is designed as a subscription membership program, and will include videos.  In addition, Crosby-Jones says that although Little Buddha’s character, which is African American, stems from her own identity, the positive life lessons and moral messages conveyed, are universal to every race, culture and ethnicity.

“I believe this collection of books and painting projects are critically needed for these times to help our children understand and navigate the many pressures they face today from every level in society, and help parents have meaningful conversations with their children about some challenging topics,” shared Crosby-Jones. “They help bring wisdom on how to maneuver these challenging times, stimulate creativity through the arts and helps children to focus their thoughts on the positive,” she said.

The first two Little Buddha’s Moral Arts books and painting projects will be available in early December 2020 in time for the gifting season, with the video series being launched in January 2021. Little Buddha’s Moral Arts Books are available wherever books are sold online. For more information, or to subscribe to the membership program, go to littlebuddhamoralarts.com
